Our Team

Dr. Jana Foltin Bruhn

Hi, I’m Dr. Jana. I have been a veterinarian for 20 years and proudly took over ownership of Tomball Animal Hospital from my father Dr. Tony in 2006. I have 2 children, 6 dogs, 4 cats, 1 horse, 1 mini-donkey, 2 potbelly pigs, and 2 African tortoises.  My zoo at home keeps me busy when I am not at work.   I have created an oasis on my grandparent’s old homestead, where I can relax, rejuvenate and have peace. My daughter works in the practice and has started her Animal Science degree at SHSU.  My son gives me plenty of football (he made varsity as a freshman!), baseball, and basketball games to attend. If I were to describe myself in three words, I would say that I am kind, analytical and easy going.

Dr. Murray

Hi, I'm Dr. Murray. I am a residency trained surgeon with 32 years of experience providing advanced care to patients in the Houston area. I'm delighted to be a full time associate at TAH now, providing our clients and patients with the care they deserve in a comfortable family owned practice. I have five jack Russell terriers, I compete in terrier trials and one of my dogs was invited to the Purina Pro Plan Incredible dog challenge last May. We saw some amazing dogs there and had a great time, although mine didn't place. I have a 10 acre farm with horses, chickens, hay, and lots of wildlife. When I'm not at the clinic, I'm doing farm chores, in agility class with my dogs,or out on the lake. My outside the box fun...I make costumes for the Texas Renaissance Festival!

Gloria

Hi, I’m Gloria, the office manager at TAH, and have been working here for 53 years! I am happily married with kids, grandkids, great-grandkids,  multiple pets, and a beautiful farm. I enjoy gardening, raising cattle, and being a workaholic. I am happiest when I can stay busy and see our wonderful clients who have been coming to TAH since my husband started the practice in 1971. When I am not at the clinic, you can find me enjoying farm life at home or at sporting events and FFA shows for my grandchildren. I am a proud grandmother and great-grandmother.

I’m currently attending Sam Houston State University to obtain my degree in Animal Science with plans to attend Vet school in the future. When at the clinic next, feel free to hi!

Although I do not have any pets of my own at home, I love interacting with clients and their pets at the clinic. My favorite hobbies outside of work are being outdoors, hiking, doing yoga, and taking my grandson to the park. I would describe myself as caring, hard-working, and loving, and my favorite foods are burgers with french fries. If you see me around the clinic, feel free to say hi and introduce yourself. I am happy to be a part of the team!

Our Furry Team

  • Martin & Hank

Hi guys, we are the brothers, Martin and Hank! We are your typical brothers and spend as much together as we can.  Our favorite thing to do is take naps up front with Andrea, our work mom. Martin just wants everyone to throw him the yellow ball and Hank just wants your food!

  • Beezley

Hi, I’m Beezley, I was rescued by Dr. Jana from Tiny Paws Pet Rescue.  I am very dependent on my mom and keep a close eye on all of my siblings. You will find me either snuggled up in my mom’s office or running around the clinic not listening. One thing about me is I may be small but I secretly run the pack.

  • Rufus

Hi, I’m Rufus AKA Blockhead. I am an old soul, that’s for sure. I am very affectionate and you can almost always find me with a toy in my mouth.  I prefer to stay at home and chillax, but do visit the clinic for my spa day every week.

  • Texas

Hi, I’m Texas and I am the newest dog to Dr. Jana’s family. I am a free-spirited dog and do what I choose to do. I do not like to go inside so If you see me I will either be playing with my siblings, jumping in the pool, or causing some sort of ruckus. I love to show affection and I am a really good boy!

  • Bluebell

Hi, I’m Bluebell Pepper. I am sweet with a little bit of sassy side.  I am a strong independent dog and like to nap quietly in my mom’s office. If the other dogs are out of place or are getting into something they should not, I quickly tell them who the boss lady is.

  • Sammy

Hi, I’m Sammy.   I was rescued as a stray kitten by Dr. Jana in 2011.  I love to cuddle and give big hugs to my human friends at the clinic.  You might find me sleeping quietly in the bed or begging for Temptations in Exam Room 1.    You are welcome to pet me or hold me, but be careful, as I might drool on you in return.

  • Springer

Hi, I’m Springer.  I was rescued by Dr. Jana’s son as a stray kitten found in the drainage ditch out back in 2017.  I look a lot like a previous clinic cat Sylvester, who had recently passed before I was found.   I don’t interact with clients as much as Sammy but love to hang out in the pharmacy and seek out boxes to cuddle up in.
